Drinking wine can have its consequences
One of the most terrible consequences of a heavy night wine drinking is an awful experience of hangover next morning. The very common words that are often uttered while suffering a hammering headache and troublesome stomach due to a hangover are, “I will never drink again!”
Wine is a sugar rich alcohol and that makes it able to cause the extreme hangovers one can experience. A person facing a badly wine hangover can’t move, can’t drink, can’t eat and obviously he cannot think of going to work. That will be the time when that person will seek for the possible ways to get rid of a wine hangover.

To get rid of a wine hangover, the first step is to try not to get a wine hangover. Prevention is certainly the best cure of a hangover. It is not very difficult to avoid a hangover and the easiest way is to avoid consuming alcohol. However, most of us will find it impractical to avoid drinking and if it not possible to avoid alcohol, one can opt for the following preventive ways to get rid of a wine alcohol.
• Avoid drinking on an empty belly. Eat food before consuming wine. This food will help you to get rid of a wine alcohol. With a filled tummy, wine will take time to get absorbed. This will help you to avoid a nasty hangover the next morning. Avoid taking salt as too much salt will increase the chances of dehydration.
• It would be better if you choose to drink a glass of milk before consuming wine. Milk will provide a protective layer to your stomach and it will also help you to absorb wine in a safer manner.
• The worst symptoms of a hangover occur because of dehydration of your body. By making sure to take enough water, you will find it easy to get rid of a wine hangover. If you are out to enjoy a wine party, keep drinking water from time to time to avoid dehydration.
• Don’t take different types of drinks because sticking to drinking wine the entire night will help you drink lesser. Also, it will help you to avoid disturbing your stomach too much. Don’t mix red wine with whisky or other dark drinks.
• After coming back to home, drink a big glass of water before going to sleep. Water is one of the most efficient ways to avoid a wine hangover. While you can take some multivitamin pill as it will help you to get rid of a wine hangover, you should avoid taking Tylenol because that will hurt your stomach and liver in combination with alcohol.
By following the above mentioned steps, you will hopefully avoid experiencing a nasty hangover next morning. However, after waking up, if you find that your head is still hurting, opt to take one or two aspirin and drink more water. Don’t reach for Tylenol, paracetamol or ibuprofen. These medicines can worsen the effects of wine. You should also avoid taking coffee. Better is to drink lemon water with a little of honey and cinnamon as it will definitely help you to get rid of a wine hangover.
